Persatuan Sokongan Penjagaan Pelbagai Malaysia

Established in 2019, Persatuan Sokongan Penjagaan Pelbagai Malaysia is a professional association dedicated to strengthening and standardising Malaysia's care industry. What began as a postnatal care-focused body has evolved into a comprehensive platform supporting professionals in postnatal, elderly, medical escort, and community-based care services. The Association is committed to structured training, certification, ethical practice, and the development of a sustainable, respected, and professional care ecosystem nationwide.

Our Journey

From postnatal care specialists to comprehensive community care professionals

Our Association Building
1

2019 – Our Foundation

The Association was established with a clear mission to professionalise the postnatal care (confinement caregiver) industry in Malaysia. We focused on developing structured training programmes, establishing professional practice standards, safeguarding caregiver welfare, and elevating the credibility of the confinement care profession.

2

2020-2022 – Leadership Transition

Following the passing of our founding President, the current President assumed leadership, ensuring continuity and stability. We reorganised internal governance structures, strengthened membership management systems, enhanced operational frameworks, and reinforced compliance and professional ethics.

3

2023-2025 – Expanding Beyond Postnatal Care

As societal needs evolved, we expanded to welcome professionals from broader care sectors: elderly community care, medical appointment escort services, patient caregiving and bedside support, and family-based home care services. We recognised that care extends across all life stages within the community.

4

2026 – Rebranding & Transformation

The Association officially rebranded to reflect our broader mission and national scope. This transformation marked our evolution from a postnatal-focused body to a comprehensive platform supporting the entire community care industry, building foundational standards, promoting structured training, and strengthening public trust in the care profession.
